1490AM ESPN Tucson & PODS Tucson are teaming up to make a difference with the Holiday Harvest Food Drive.

Join us Thursday, November 13, from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM at the Sam’s Club at River & Stone in Tucson, Arizona. We’ll be on site all day collecting donations to fill a PODS container with non-perishable food and monetary contributions — all to support the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.

With one in seven Arizonans facing hunger, your support helps ensure our neighbors don’t go without this holiday season. Every can, every dollar, and every act of generosity counts.

The holidays are our busiest time of year — and the perfect opportunity to rally your workplace and make a real difference in our community. Pick up your official Food Drive box this week at the Tucson Resource Center, located at 3003 South Country Club Road, and start collecting nonperishable food items with your coworkers. Then, join us for Holiday Harvest on Thursday, November 13th at Sam’s Club, 4701 North Stone Avenue, where we’ll gather all the filled boxes and celebrate the generosity of local businesses across Tucson.
