If you’ve listened to any University of Arizona football presser this year, you’ve heard Brent Brennan say “Redline.”
The mantra is his philosophy for the program. It basically means play fast, play max effort, and play hard.
That mantra has led to a collaboration with Phoenix Raceway ahead of the NASCAR Championship Weekend October 31-November 2.
Brennan got to drive a car on the track with Wilbur and others in attendance.

On October 11 in a home game against BYU, the collaboration will continue. A NASCAR vehicle will lead the team bus and then the players onto the field. There will be all sorts of NASCAR related events around the game.
Besides talking about all of this, Brennan spoke about what the bye week was like for him and what he’s looking forward to about opening Big 12 play against Iowa State this week.
