Off the field impressed me more than on today at the Camp Tontozona.
All that mattered to me on the field was that the kicker was good. (he was). No need for players to get hurt in games that don’t matter. Today was more of a win for the defending Big 12 Champions off the field.
We dropped a note in this space earlier in the summer about Kenny Dillingham’s desire for an updated weight room. I’d heard that the current setup, although not that old, was significantly outdated compared to the rest of the Big 12. In the big business of college football, you have to have every bell and whistle in place to get the ball rolling.
Here’s the story behind the story from my view this morning at Camp T.

Will it guarantee another Big 12 title and a College Football Playoff berth? Of course not, but in today’s competitive landscape, now is the time for groups like the Sol Devils to take action and help the cause at their school.
