Last Week: 10-3
Overall: 112-59
New York (A) over Washington
Chicago over Kansas City – Candidate for worst starting QB’s in NFL game ever: Tyler Palko vs. Caleb Hannie. There are CFL teams laughing at that.
Tennessee over Buffalo – Is Chris Johnson on the verge of waking from the dead at the exact moment his fantasy owners are laying to rest their season? Probably.
Miami over Oakland – Miami playing hard but really just playing themselves out of draft position. Will be interesting if Matt Moore (7 TD’s and 1 INT in last 4 games, Fins 3-1) plays is way into teams long term plans.
Baltimore over Cleveland – Baltimore has previously struggled or lost to Jacksonville, St. Louis, Seattle and Arizona so Cleveland has a chance.
Pittsburgh over Cincinnati – These two teams squared off just 3 weeks ago in Cinncy and now the rematch in Pittsburgh but I don’t think an unfavorable change in venues will help Cincinnati’s chances at reversing the outcome from the first meeting.
New Orleans over Detroit – Drew Brees accuracy in the Monday Night romp over New York was absolutely spectacular. I couldn’t be that accurate throwing crumpled sheets of paper into a trash can alone in my studio, let alone throw a football with an entire defense and moving targets.
Tampa Bay over Carolina – I think, THINK, Tampa Bay is a better team than their 4-8 record but a brutal schedule has impeded their development. Think TB can finish strong with 3 of remaining 5 against sub .500 teams.
Atlanta over Houston – TJ Yates sounds like A) Annoying guy from college that talked incessantly about his frat B) A lacrosse player or C) A guy that will murder Houston’s season. The answer of course, D) All of the Above.
Minnesota over Denver – Tebow-mania hits a bump in the road against an underrated defense on the road. Either that or he delivers another late 4th quarter comeback victory. Crap.
Green Bay over New York (N) – If Green Bay wins, expect “Would Green Bay be better off losing a game?” to take over as the BIG sports debate of the week, next week.
Arizona over Dallas – Occasionally, my personal feelings for Dallas is too strong to contain. I’ve not enjoyed Dallas’s resurgence and would greatly enjoy them being brought down to earth. At least I’m honest about it.
San Francisco over St. Louis – Random fact of the week thanks to ESPN’s NFC West blogger Kevin Sando: SF Head Coach Jim Harbaugh has equaled STL Head Coach Steve Spagnuolo’s career wins mark in 32 fewer games.
New England over Indianapolis – Doesn’t it feel like a really long time ago when this match-up was THE regular season game of the year?
Monday Night Football
San Diego over Jacksonville – Philip Rivers is throwing the football like I would expect a T-Rex to throw one but no justifiable reason to pick Jax.
